Outdoor worship is held every Sunday at 1pm, at Brewer Fountain on Boston Common, near the corner of Park and Tremont Streets. This is at the Park Street subway stop where the Red Line meets the Green line.

Please note: Boston seems to be under constant construction, detours, new ramps etc., so caveat driver! The directions below are subject to change - bring a map or check the internet for directions, too.

FROM THE NORTH

Take 93 South all the way into town, or 95 South to Rte 1 South.

When you are on the bridge into Boston, get over to your right and get off where it says Storrow Drive.

Follow signs for Storrow Drive, and then get off at the Government Center/Kendall Sq - Cambridge exit ( a left-hand exit ). Once on the exit ramp, stay to your left, as you don't want to cross the river into Cambridge. You will come to 2 traffic lights very close together and the elevated subway tracks above you.

Stay straight through the second set of lights, leaving a CVS store on your left. You are now on Charles Street at the foot of Beacon Hill - go through several traffic lights, staying to the left.

At the end of the one way section of Charles, you will be at another set of lights, with a Starbucks on your left and a bank on your right. Take a left here and go up Beacon Street with the Boston Common on your right, and at the top of the hill, the State House on your left.

Take a right, opposite the State House at traffic lights, onto Park Street (very short street) keeping the Common on your right.

Take a right at the lights at the end of the block, and you are now on Tremont, with another set of lights right there after the turn. On your left in the next block is St. Paul's Episcopal Cathedral at 138 Tremont St. Three red doors, big wide steps and about five fat columns. The fountain should be visible across the street.

Note for visiting congregations and those with things to drop off: Double park and unload your stuff on Tremont Street. We will come and help.

PARKING

Parking

Please note that limited street parking may be available, and is free on Sundays. If your car is minivan height or shorter, the Boston Common Garage on Charles Street is a good indoor parking options.

For taller vehicles, outdoor parking near Downtown Crossing is recommended.

For overheight vehicles, continue on Tremont, staying center or leftish. At the end of Boston Common there are lights. The cross street is Boylston, Dunkin Donuts ahead on the right corner - go straight through the lights and take your first left down what looks like an alley, but is La Grange Street (opposite the Emerson Majestic Theater marquee), and there is parking on both your left and right. If you are driving a van, the lot on your right is cheaper (FitzInn). If in a car, the one on your left is cheaper (Allright). Park and walk back to the church.

For the Boston Common Garage, continue on Tremont Street, turn right on Boylston, and right again onto Charles St (between the Public Garden on your left, and the Common on your right), and the entrance to the underground garage is halfway along on your right. Walk through the Common to the fountain near the corner of Park and Tremont Streets, below the Statehouse, and you will find us.

We have discount coupons available for Boston Common Garage, and we'll sell them to you at our cost (currently $9.00) during Reflection time after Worship.
